Blinn TEAM FAQ
Students will register for their first semester of Blinn classes during their scheduled Texas A&M New Student Conference (NSC); however, they are encouraged to register early for Blinn classes before the day of their NSC. Their welcome email will contain information for self-advising and early registration.

RELLIS does not offer on-campus housing; however, the Bryan/College Station community has a wide variety of housing options available for students.
Students attending the RELLIS Campus can use their own cars for transportation between the two campuses. Students must have a parking pass for the RELLIS Campus that will also be used for the main Texas A&M campus. Please contact Texas A&M Transportation Services for more information on parking passes.
Texas A&M provides bus transportation for students taking classes at the RELLIS Campus. Students can use Route 47 - RELLIS to get between Texas A&M and the RELLIS Campus. For more information on Texas A&M bus routes, please contact Texas A&M Transportation Services.
Students may use their TAMU parking pass to park at RELLIS. Please contact Texas A&M Transportation Services for more information on parking passes for the RELLIS and Texas A&M campuses.
Since each institution has its own class policies, make sure to speak with an advisor from the specific institution if you have any questions about classes. Additionally, if you have advising holds, you will need to consult with an advisor from the institution where the hold is in place.

In your myBLINN portal, click My Records → Look Up Classes → Select Term → Advanced Search → Campus → Select your campus (RELLIS)
All TEAM students are required to attempt at least 12 credit hours per regular semester; 3 credit hours of which must be taken at TAMU. This means that you may Q-drop below the required 12 credit hours, if needed.
Maybe. Students may submit a change of curriculum application if/when they have:
- Completed two or more regular semesters
- Maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at both institutions
- Satisfied all entry requirements for their intended major

No. If you are not seeking a degree from Blinn, it does not matter what your major is. More often than not, Blinn does not offer the same majors as Texas A&M.
The Texas Guaranteed Tuition Plan (TGTP) may be used at both schools simultaneously, but students must follow the procedures for both Blinn and Texas A&M each semester.
Blinn: Take your TGTP ID card to the Financial Aid Office prior to the Blinn payment deadline. A copy of your card will be placed on file, and you will be asked to complete a TGTP authorization form. The Financial Aid Office is located inside the Tejas Center at 3125 S Texas Ave, Suite 1900, in Bryan.

Students complete all their financial aid through the TAMU Financial Aid Office.
Students are eligible to apply for Blinn's Endowed Scholarship at: http://cvsmub.szjzlx.com/scholarships.
Any outside scholarships should be sent to the TAMU Financial Aid Office.

Students who are going to utilize Hazlewood benefits must apply and provide documentation to both the Blinn and TAMU Veteran Services offices.
Students utilizing VA educational benefits must submit all paperwork to the TAMU Veteran Services Office and request a PIL (Parent Institution Letter) be sent to Blinn so that the hours they are attending at Blinn can be certified to the VA.

Each student will be responsible for paying Blinn directly; Texas A&M does not send money to Blinn. To view payment dates for Blinn, please visit the current Academic Calendar.
Students not receiving any scholarships and/or financial aid at Texas A&M must meet the posted regular payment deadline.

Your Texas A&M University meal plan is only valid on the TAMU Campus and for associated TAMU food venders. Students attending the RELLIS Campus will have access to food options if they need to eat while there. However, the Houston Street Deli, which is located on the RELLIS campus, will accept TAMU student meal plans and dining dollars.
As a student in the Blinn TEAM program, you can save money due to Blinn’s affordable tuition and fees. For information regarding Blinn rates, please visit our Affordability page and our Catalog.
All TEAM students should plan to take Blinn courses on the RELLIS Campus only. However, under certain circumstances, Blinn TEAM students may request a campus override to take one, or more, courses needed for their intended majors . This override may only be granted for the following reasons:
- The course is not offered on the RELLIS campus and does not have an online format option.
- It is your final semester in TEAM, and the course is needed for you to transfer fully to TAMU.
Campus overrides for TEAM students will not be granted for any of the following reasons:
- Preference for a course format
- Preference for a course instructor
- Preference for a course location
- Preference for a course time
